What is a stationery tape?

         Stationery Tape (also known as Scotch tape): Stationery tape is a type of adhesive tape primarily used for office, school, and household purposes. It is typically made of a thin, transparent material like cellophane or polyester and features a moderate adhesive that sticks well to paper and other light materials.

        Stationery tape refers to a type of adhesive tape commonly used in office and school settings. It is mainly composed of a base material and an adhesive. The base material is usually BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) film, and the adhesive is typically an acrylic – based pressure – sensitive adhesive. The BOPP film is treated with high – voltage corona to make one surface rough, and then the adhesive is evenly coated on it through heating, and finally, it is cut into small rolls of various specifications.
       Stationery tape is used for pasting documents, stickers, repairing papers, and other purposes. It has the characteristics of strong adhesion, easy tearing, transparency, and environmental protection. According to the sticking property, it can be divided into single – sided tape and double – sided tape; according to the base material, it can be divided into BOPP tape, PET tape, etc.
